here's a warm and snuggly little group for a dreary fall morning. can you almost smell the freshly baked apple pie? i can't either, but i wish i could. i am, however, steeping a cup of cinnamon stick tea, and it smells yummy! each one of these lovely pieces of art is among my favorite favorites, and i just spotted these pretty ceramic pitchers this morning. they are little, but don't they seem like they seem like they should be full of cider? very fall. if you like what you see here then be sure to check out the etsy shops of these very talented artists. there is so much more where these images came from. from top to bottom: "penny peacock" by tuesday mourning, "orange trees by the blue lake - hand painted wood brooch", by gretchenmist, and "rain is magical" by courtneyoquist. oh, and if you like this pair of pitchers as much as i do, make sure you take a peek at red eye vintage for more vintage goodness.

meet etsy's jessjamesjake where vintage shopping = nature friendly. jess admirably shreds her junk mail to make packing material, and ships out her cute finds in used, clean boxes or envelopes whenever possible. in addition to all that, she has a great eye for fashion. i will let these pictures speak for themselves! be sure to check her etsy shop daily, because she is a listing maniac, :).

well, it is still green out there but fall is definitely in the air today. i love this kind of cool, breezy, gray, early fall-ish kind of day. these four gorgeous images evoke the same kind of feeling in me. from the tippity top to bottom, here are the talented creators behind these beauties: "witches promise" dress by iheartfink, "the modern olive" by jennygrayart, "pendulum" necklace by adornbyamysingley, and "homeless" by amberalexander. now go make yourself a cup of hot cocoa.

felicita sala of baboucherouge is a painter and illustrator born in italy, bred in australia, who currently lives in rome. if you have not yet come across her original illustrations or paintings, hurry on over to her shop on etsy. what a talented young lady! she currently has a few original pieces on sale for 50% off, like the first two here which i absolutely love. the last image is a watercolour and pencil illustration. felicita also has a blog where you can learn more about her and her work. from top to bottom: "fair play", "the clouds told stories", and "sofia's new gloves".

hello & happy september 8th! i had a very productive couple of days in my studio producing 2 new paintings with a fall/chilly edge. i really didn't plan on being seasonal - as per usual for me, the color palette drives the image and i guess i have autumn on the brain. i'll be posting both new images in my etsy shop today.
