the most wonderful time of the year

a little white house

i came across this photo of mudpuppy's "little white house" this morning and thought how beautiful such a simple concept can be. i am hoping to do a lot of relaxing by the fire and even painting in my studio over christmas break. lots of hustle and bustle here in the city at christmas time which is fun - but also a little hectic and crazy. it will be nice to be in vermont slowing down for a bit. only one more week of hustle and bustle to go! hope all of you enjoying the season as much as i am. p.s. see my treasury "olive you christmas time" for more simple christmas time beauty.

can you believe the christmas season is officially upon us? i can't, but i love holiday time so i am pretty excited. anyway, in celebration of etsy's cyber monday promotion today, all giclee prints in my shop have been reduced by $7! in combination with free shipping, that ain't bad. make sure to take a peek at etsy all day long (and i know you all will) for lots and lots and lots of handmade holiday bargains.
